Position DetailsJob title: Behaviour SpecialistContract: Full time, Permanent – 35 hours per week; part‑time roles availableLocations: Balbriggan, Clontarf, Clondalkin, Swords, WaterfordGrade: Senior Play Therapist – 3705Salary: €64,551–€76,007 (Department of Health Salary Scale)About the OrganisationThe CRC Children’s Disability Network (CDNT) delivers intervention to children aged 0‑18 with complex developmental needs across locations in Dublin and Waterford. Services follow a Family‑Centred Practice Model and are part of a broader transformation programme in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Behaviour Specialist you will provide behavioural assessment, design and implement interventions, and support children and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver person‑centred services.Essential RequirementsBoard‑Certified Behaviour Analyst certification with at least three years of experience in a similar role, or a Masters‑level qualification in behavioural assessment and intervention (e.g. MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Diploma in Applied Psychology of Learning Disability (Challenging Behaviour)).Actively pursuing certification with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board, with at least three years of experience in a similar role, or five years of experience within ID services.Demonstrated competence in performing duties related to the role.Evidence of participation in continued professional development.Flexibility and teamwork skills.Administrative capacity to discharge role functions.Full driver’s licence and access to a car; non‑licence applicants may apply but must obtain a licence before interview.Desirable RequirementsExperience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.Experience working with children with physical disabilities.Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.Experience completing Assessment of Need.Additional InformationClosing date: 24/05/2026.
