The Opportunity
Our client is one of Ireland's leading business advisory and accountancy firms based in South Dublin. Over the past year, they have experienced significant growth in their business circa 15% and are expecting a further 15% over the next 12 months.
Because of this growth, a new role has arisen for a Senior Company Secretary/ Co Sec Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. The role will report directly to one of the Partners and will initially be standalone.

The Position
This role is an ideal position for a Senior Company Secretary who is looking for a varied and stimulating role delivering advisory, consultancy and compliance services to a variety of corporate clients within the Firm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients to ensure the highest standard of service is upheld.
2. Report to Department Head and Partners on specific cases and company secretarial assignments.
3. Advising on a varied portfolio of companies in relation to annual compliance requirements and preparing the relevant documentation.
4. Recording statutory changes for your portfolio of clients and preparing the relevant documentation in respect of: Changes to director/secretary, registered office Change of company name, registration of business name Changes to authorised share capital and issued share capital. Changes to the constitution of a company in accordance with client needs
5. Specialist assistance with transactional work and provision of company secretarial advices in respect of: Group re-organisations Voluntary strike offs Share buyback/redemptions
6. Providing advice to clients in relation to legislative queries they have in addition to changes brought in by new legislation and the Companies Registration Office procedures
7. Attendance at meetings and dealing directly with clients
8. Complying with all Firm policies and procedures.
Target Profile / Key Attributes
9. ICSA Qualified – with circa 3 - 4 years' experience
10. Strong organisational skills - proven ability to prioritise and manage a large portfolio of work.
11. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
12. Excellent communicator, display confidence and professionalism.
13. Display commitment, motivation and initiative in all business dealings.
14. Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation.
15. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
