Job Title: Senior Manager Laboratory Operations
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our laboratory operations, ensuring that all activities are aligned with our business objectives and deliverables. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of laboratory operations across multiple testing facilities
- Ensure validated processes, calibrated equipment, and robust preventative maintenance programs in collaboration with the technical team
- Build and maintain an engaged, high-performing workforce through effective leadership, coaching, training, and succession planning
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support business development and ensure high levels of service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, life sciences, engineering, or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of operational leadership experience within manufacturing/service/laboratory testing industry
- Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated ability to contribute to commercial strategy, including pricing, service development, and customer engagement
- Solid understanding of core business functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, and Quality
- Proven track record of managing complex operations, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
