Description
Due to continued growth, expansion, and diversification across our business offering, we are seeking to recruit a Graduate Environmental Engineer with a background in technical environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, engineering, or geology to join the Soil & Site Remediation team. The role is suitable for recent graduates and can be based at our Portlaoise or Dublin sites, with nationwide travel to various project sites as required.
The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development. It is ideal for individuals qualified to degree level in a relevant technical environmental or agricultural science, engineering, or geology background, interested in working within the environmental, waste, or construction sectors. Detailed training and mentoring will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, capable of self-managing their operations to high standards. A substantial part of the role involves off-site work, liaising with contractors, staff, clients, third parties, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong client and contractor relationships, focusing on delivering partnership solutions.
* Hold a strong technical degree in environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, engineering, or geology.
* Take ownership of projects, delivering efficient and optimized solutions that meet client and business expectations.
* Manage projects actively, including overseeing direct employees and subcontractors.
* Prepare reports and communicate effectively using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
