JP2 - Electronic & Security Systems EngineerIntroduction:Coleman Electronics Ltd. are seeking to employ a skilled engineer / technician within the above sector. The suitable candidate will possess the required skill set along with an appropriate degree of professionalism required to join or vastly experienced and highly successful team.This position involves the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems Analogue & IP, Access Control Systems, Emergency Lighting & Fire Alarm Systems.This role is to develop a relationship for company growth from Mayo Office. This role will have daily support from the Technical Manager and the designated JP1 Senior Lead Engineers.Role Responsibilities:
Installation of the above systems in line with company procedures and industry standards.
Maintenance of the above systems in line with company procedures and industry standards.
Programme, test and commission each of the system components.
Demonstrations to the end user on the operations of the above systems.
Testing of Alarm & Video Signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre.
Complete all required documentation electronically/hard copy from customers daily in line with the company procedures.
Represent the company and yourself to the highest levels of service in line with the company procedures.
Must be able work on own initiative and as part of a team.
As this is a field-based role, the successful individual must be prepared to travel on a regular basis and provide cover in all geographical areas throughout the island of Ireland when required.
Direct reporting to Operations Manager daily on calls and Technical Department re: technical issues before leaving sites.
Skills & Qualifications:
City & Guilds Craftsperson, Electrical/Electronic Degree or Mechatronics Degree is required.
PC skills are essential especially with IT networking focus.
A passion for delivering excellent customer service, installations and maintenance is essential.
Full clean driving licence is essential.
Safe pass and Garda Vetting certification is desirable.
Previous installation experience is required with at least 3 years experience with a Security Company.
Training completed with up to date security equipment is desirable.
3 years+ experience in the Security Sector.
Remuneration:
Company vehicle.
