Locations include Presentation Primary School, Parnell Street, Gardens, Kilkenny; St. Mary\'s National School, Thomastown, Kilkenny. Contract: Part-Time (10-18 hours/week) with a rotating schedule (2 days one week, 3 days the next). Position: Team Leader (28.75 hours per week) Monday to Friday. This role involves cooking and leading kitchen operations in a fast-paced school catering environment.What you will be doingCooking from scratch: preparing fresh, healthy meals daily in onsite kitchens.Kitchen management: assisting with the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced commercial kitchen.Service: delivering lunches cooked onsite to classrooms.End-of-day clean down.Safety: maintaining high standards of HACCP food safety and hygiene.Leading kitchen operations: rostering, placing orders with food service providers, recruiting and supervising staff, ensuring food safety and company policies are adhered to.Rostering issued one week in advance; may move between schools within ~30-minute drive of main location for support.Requirements and qualificationsExperience in team leadership, catering, and cooking is required.Training in HACCP is preferable.Term-time position only.Schedule: Team Leader, 28 hours per week; Shift: approx. 8:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
