In partnership with our client, Sedgwick Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Executive in Plaintiff Litigation.This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Limerick city based law firm.A trainee legal executive who is willing to sit the legal executive course will also be considered.This is a fully onsite role.Working hours 9am - 5pmThe RoleTo perform the duties of Legal Executive within the Plaintiff Litigation department.To assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible fee earner and ensure the smooth operation of the section of the office on a day-to-day basis.To perform the duties of a Legal Executive within a Plaintiff Litigation Department primarily involving Personal Injury claims.To assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible Partner.Qualifications/Experience and SkillsDiploma in Legal Studies an advantage.Membership of the IILEX an advantage.Previous experience of a similar nature is desirable, preferably including personal injury, within a Plaintiff Litigation Department.Excellent knowledge of legal procedures and processes, including court proceedings and the enforcement of such judgements.Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised, in a busy environment.Proven organisational and administrative ability as well as excellent communication skills.A positive attitude, a proactive approach to work and a willingness to learn.A high degree of attention to detail.Proficient in I.T skills
