Responsibilities
Prepare fresh, healthy meals from scratch each day.
Peel, chop, and cook ingredients for student lunches.
Assist with the hustle and bustle of a fast‑paced commercial kitchen.
Serve students at break times and handle cash when required.
Maintain high standards of HACCP food safety and hygiene.
Schedule and Working Hours
Part‑time: 10–15 hours per week, 2–3 days per week (rotating roster); 8:00 am–2:30 pm.
Full‑time: 25–27 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 8:00 am–2:30 pm with a half day every Wednesday.
Half days are issued one week in advance.
Requirements
Willingness to move between schools within a 30‑minute drive of the primary location.
Acceptability for Garda Vetting and completion of a Child Protection Course.
Experience in catering or home cooking is advantageous; a positive attitude is essential.
Availability Monday–Friday, with flexibility for rotating schedules.
