Overview Of Role
The Access to Care Team provides end-to-end administration support to the hospital and its functions. The team manages all queries, telephone calls, and correspondence (paper and electronic) for areas including, but not limited to, Front of House, Admissions, Outpatient clinics, and Medical Records.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
The team provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth hospital operations, managing inquiries and correspondence efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the efficient processing of all Access to Care functions across the hospital.
* Maintain a professional image in all interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.
* Manage all contractor, visitor, and patient pathways, adhering to policies and delivering professional service.
* Distribute and track registration processes for stakeholders.
* Handle car park inquiries in collaboration with hospital management.
* Respond to hospital call volumes professionally and efficiently.
* Manage voicemails and relay messages accurately.
* Oversee Healthlink platform, respond to referrals, and ensure proper distribution.
* Manage outpatient clinic schedules and liaise with consultants.
* Ensure smooth patient admissions, verifying details per safety standards.
* Complete daily insurance and revenue collections, and manage cancellations and reports.
* Handle end-of-day cash reporting and coordinate with theatre scheduling and medical records.
* Flexibility to work in other hospital areas as required.

Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
* Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hospital systems experience advantageous.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
