Senior Site Engineer Civils & Groundworks (Residential) Adamstown A Senior Site Engineer is required for a well-established civil contractor delivering a large-scale residential development in Adamstown.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a senior role overseeing all civils and groundworks packages on a long-term project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the site management team, ensuring all civil works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties: Lead all setting out activities for groundworks, drainage, utilities, foundations, roads, and external works using GPS and total station equipment.
Oversee and coordinate civil and groundworks subcontractors on site.
Ensure works are carried out in compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, design team, and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate site records including QA documentation, daily reports, and as-built surveys.
Monitor progress against programme and assist with planning and sequencing of civil works.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Resolve technical and coordination issues relating to drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
Support materials management, ordering, and logistics for civil works packages.
Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years experience as a Site Engineer, with strong experience in civils and groundworks on residential projects.
Proven experience managing drainage, utilities, roadworks, and foundations packages.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, GPS, and total station equipment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work as part of a site management team and lead junior engineers where required.
Strong problem-solving ability and proactive approach on site.
Salary & Benefits: Salary circa €7585k, depending on experience..
