Barna & Moycullen Veterinary Clinic is welcoming an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, established team on a part-time, permanent basis.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to vets who may be stepping back from full-time hours but still want a meaningful caseload, clinical autonomy, and access to ongoing development, including CPD and certificate support. Whether you're balancing family life, other commitments, or simply looking for a more sustainable pace, we're very open to shaping this role around you.
The Role
This is a flexible, part-time position offering a minimum of 18 hours per week, with a shared Saturday rota of 1 in 4. The out-of-hours commitment is light and well managed, shared with a neighbouring practice and amounting to approximately two weeknights per month and five weekends per year.
We're genuinely flexible when it comes to working patterns. Hours and days can be tailored to suit your availability and lifestyle, so this is very much a "fit-or-flex" role. If you have something specific in mind, we'd love to hear it.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeons with experience in general small animal practice who are confident with first-opinion work and routine surgery. You'll be comfortable managing your own cases, including occasional sole charge, and you'll value good communication, teamwork and high standards of patient and client care.
