Job Summary:
The Concierge plays a key role in curating memorable, personalised guest experiences at The Grace Westport Estate. Acting as a trusted point of contact, this role supports guests before arrival, throughout their stay, and at departure by delivering tailored recommendations, itinerary planning, and seamless coordination of services. With a strong service mindset and in-depth local knowledge, the Concierge enhances the guest journey while upholding the estate's standards of warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a genuine, warm, and professional welcome to all guests, visitors, and vendors.
* Deliver personalised itinerary planning, including booking excursions, dining reservations, transportation, and local experiences.
* Offer informed recommendations on local attractions, dining, entertainment, and estate facilities based on guest preferences.
* Anticipate guest needs proactively and resolve requests with efficiency and care.
* Assist guests with luggage during arrivals and departures as required.
* Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and guest requests, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up.
* Maintain an organised, polished, and guest-ready concierge area at all times.
* Handle administrative tasks including mail distribution, courier coordination, and delivery management.
* Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, bookings, and service requests.
* Promote hotel services, upsell room categories, and cross-sell Westport Estate facilities and experiences.
* Demonstrate full knowledge of front office service standards, SOPs, and performance expectations.
* Follow shift checklists to ensure consistency in service delivery and operational readiness.
* Take ownership of personal development through training participation and standards adherence.
* Collaborate closely with Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, and external partners to deliver seamless guest experiences.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management to support the broader operation.

Required Experience & Skills
* Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, preferably within a Concierge or guest-facing Front Office role.
* Strong local knowledge with the ability to create tailored, high-value guest recommendations.
* High level of technological proficiency, including email, telephony systems, and relevant hotel software.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Service-driven mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
* Commitment to continuous improvement, compliance, and service excellence.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
