Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacist – Must Be Registered with PSI & Living Nearby to join our team on a part-time basis.
The role involves working every Saturday plus two weekdays (approx. 20 hours per week), with flexibility to cover additional hours during staff holidays or sick leave.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense and check prescriptions in accordance with PSI regulations.
Oversee and verify medication trays for nursing homes.
Provide expert advice and counselling to patients and carers.
Support front-of-shop operations when required.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy and healthcare standards.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a supportive work environment.
Requirements
Mandatory:
Already registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
Must live nearby to ensure reliability and punctuality.
English language proficiency at C1 level.
Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
Working Conditions
No Sundays or evening shifts.
Fixed schedule: every Saturday + 2 weekdays (approx. 20 hours/week).
Flexibility required to cover extra hours in case of colleagues' holidays or illness.
