Job Title: Anaesthesiology Expertise Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing perioperative care for surgical patients.
* Participating in the Anaesthesia oncall rota at the hospital.
* Being involved in preoperative assessment clinics.
* Teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and advanced fellowship levels.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess advanced training in obstetric anaesthesia and clinical leadership experience in development of women's health services. They must also demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of routine aspects of anaesthesia practice.
This is a full-time permanent position, requiring availability to attend emergencies within 30 minutes when on duty. The consultant will be responsible for education, training, organisation, provision, and audit of services related to anaesthesia.
