Dromoland Castle Hotel, is seeking an experiencedAssistant Night Managerto support the smooth and efficient overnight operation of the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that all guest interactions, operational procedures, and service delivery consistently reflectForbes Travel Guide standards, with a strong focus on personalised service, security, cleanliness, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the Night Operations function, ensuring service delivery consistently meets Forbes Travel Guide luxury standards.Carry out front office duties, ensuring accurate awareness of nightly business activity and completion of operational and management reports.Deliver warm, intuitive, and personalised guest service, responding to queries efficiently and professionally.Build exceptional rapport with guests, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations in line with Forbes service philosophy.Conduct and accurately log all nightly security, fire, and safety checks.Support Food & Beverage departments during overnight operations when required.Ensure all cleaning standards, checklists, and presentation standards are fully maintained.Handle guest reservation enquiries with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.Ensure meeting and function rooms are set up precisely to hotel and Forbes standards.Assist with team training and provide on-the-job coaching to ensure consistent service excellence.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an Assistant Night Manager or Night Supervisor within a 4 or 5-star or Forbes-recognised property.Strong knowledge of front office systems and luxury hotel operations.Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.A natural passion for luxury hospitality and delivering personalised guest experiences.The ability to lead by example and work collaboratively within a team environment.A full, clean driving licence.Flexibility and enthusiasm for working night shifts.Benefits:Competitive salaryFree Leisure Centre accessPension scheme after 6 monthsSick pay and paid breaksEmployee Wellness ProgrammeAdditional benefits subject to terms and conditionsEligibility:Applications will only be accepted from candidates who have the legal right to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
