The Hyatt Centric is delighted to invite applicants for the position of Accommodation Supervisor.
This is Ireland's first Hyatt Hotel.
Adjacent to St Patrick's Cathedral, this 234-bedroom 4 Star property will include restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities and fitness centre.

Accommodation Supervisor
Responsible To
General Manager & Accommodation Manager
The Role
Key management position in the Hotel, requiring interaction with managers from all Departments.
To ensure the cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas and to promote a positive image to both customers and colleagues.
Main Duties
To ensure the efficient running of the Accommodation Department
To ensure high standards are maintained both in bedrooms and ground floor areas
To be responsible for the routine checking of bedrooms/public areas
To manage and control all costs, direct and indirect
To manage and delegate duties to Accommodation Assistants in a professional manner
To manage, motivate and lead the accommodation team
To manage and control stock levels and ensure efficiencies are achieved
To manage staff roster efficiently in the absence of the Accommodation Manager
To organise training and assist in the recruitment of staff for the Department, ensuring attention to manpower planning
To ensure a good working relationship with Managers/Heads of Departments and staff
To attend and contribute at weekly Heads of Department meetings
To carry out Hotel's Customer Relations policy
To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises
To carry out fire and accident drills
To observe all safety rules and procedures
To check with management before implementing work practice changes
To implement changes and improvements as directed by management
To aim to continue to improve standards as guests expectations increase
Any other duties as directed by the Management

Hours of Work
Your normal working week will be 5 days over a 7-day roster.
The weekly roster includes weekend work.
Tenure of Employment
These posts may be full time or part time
Qualifications/Experience Required
2-3 years experience as a supervisor in a busy hotel property.
Should be motivated team player with excellent organisational and people management skills.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ensure customer service and hospitality levels are kept to an exceptional level.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
