Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Motivating Mitie onsite staff and fostering a strong team culture.
- Building strong relationships with clients to stay informed of any flight delays or changes, enabling the cleaning team to adapt accordingly.
- Acting as the main point of contact for spillages and urgent clean-up items, deploying the team to resolve issues.
- Delegating work effectively and ensuring standards are met.
- Maintaining continuous liaison with APOC.
- Identifying and executing staff training needs.
- Preparing the location for daily operations.
- Managing break times for optimal efficiency.
- Handling disciplinary and grievance issues with guidance from HR/Learning Partner.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting QHSE awareness.
- Conducting regular 'Tool Box' talks with staff.
- Providing feedback on staff appearance and standards.
- Treating everyone with respect.
About you:
- Strong organizational and resource planning skills.
- Interest in delivering outsourced Soft Services.
- Supervisory experience in retail or Facilities Management.
- Proven ability to work in demanding environments.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Adaptability to changing environments.
