Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operational Services Manager to oversee the efficient day-to-day operations of our Restaurant/Bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and consistently delivering exceptional service to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in different hospitality environments, preferably coupled with a relevant hospitality industry qualification. Fluency in communication, excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Take responsibility for the operational management of the restaurant and bar
* Develop and implement effective staff rosters and manage payroll submissions
* Provide leadership that promotes a welcoming atmosphere for staff and customers
* Deliver first-class customer service where customer concerns are dealt with effectively
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development
* Cultivate business growth opportunities through proactive upselling and new business initiatives
* Assist with the coordination and execution of functions and events
Requirements
* Hospitality experience in different settings showing progression to supervisory/management level
* Minimum of 2 years hands-on work experience in a Supervisory role in a busy bar/restaurant environment
* Relevant hospitality industry qualification ideally coupled with Health & Safety related certification
* Hands-on experience of rostering, cash management, waste management, and purchasing
* Proven ability to handle customer queries/complaints and deliver exceptional customer service
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online reservation software
