Job Description
* Maintain consistent quality work standards and ensure post-work sites are clean and satisfactory.
* Plan, lead, and execute servicing, inspection, and repair of machinery and equipment at customer sites or depots.
* Support the technical manager in guiding and mentoring apprentice engineers and service engineers.
* Prioritize harbour crane types but also become familiar with other product types within the construction division.
* Detect and address specific fault issues, including electrical (24Vdc and 220-240Vac) and hydraulic diagnoses and repairs.
* Lead in planning, building, and dismantling cranes, working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
* Comply with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations, ensuring timely return of warranty and return parts.
* Develop effective relationships with the support team, contributing to administration and paperwork as needed.
* Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong industry background/knowledge in cranes.
* National craft certificate level 6 or equivalent qualification.
* Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in a related industry.
* Slinger/Solassafe pass card.
