Job Title: Red Team Engineer
Reperio Human Capital is seeking a seasoned security professional to join its Dublin-based team as a Red Team Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct controlled adversarial exercises targeting on-prem, cloud-linked, and containerised workloads to test an organisation's security posture.
2. Validate and escalate findings from vulnerability and detection tooling, focusing on real exploitability to drive security improvements.
3. Perform lateral movement, identity abuse, and post-exploitation investigations across mixed environments to stay one step ahead of potential threats.
4. Develop and maintain internal scripts, payloads, and test modules to support red team operations and enhance overall security capabilities.
5. Map attack paths and collaborate with defensive teams to improve detection clarity and response workflows, ensuring seamless incident management.
6. Assist in designing repeatable adversary emulation scenarios aligned with current threat activity to provide actionable insights for our clients.
7. Produce concise technical reporting and support remediation prioritisation with engineering stakeholders, helping to drive meaningful security outcomes.
8. Research new techniques, behaviours, and emerging attack chains relevant to financial services to stay informed and advise clients effectively.
