As a Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our organization meets the highest standards of safety protocols. This includes conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and providing training to ensure a safe working environment.
About the Role:
* You will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards, ensuring all necessary safety measures are in place and adhered to.
* Provide training and inductions for new and existing staff, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
* Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, incidents, and inspections.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH).
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures.
* 3+ years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in construction or a similar industry.
