We are currently seeking a highly motivated Social Care Worker to join our team in the Adult Respite Service, Ard na Mara, Ladysbridge, Co Cork.
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 19.5 hours per week (part time)
Salary Scale: €38,107 to €50,953 pro rata per annum
Annual Leave Entitlement: 31/32/34 days pro rata
Overview of the Post
Work as part of the team in Ard NaMara (Adult Respite Services) and support the Person in Charge in providing a quality service to adults with disabilities availing of respite. Assist Service Owners to plan for and direct their supports to meet their personal goals during respite and support service owners in making connections within their local community.

Essential Criteria
* Statutory registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU, or eligibility for registration.
* Schedule 3 qualification or comparable qualification recognised by CORU.
* Proof of registration (if applying as a Section 91 applicant, submission of correspondence confirming application receipt by 30th November 2025).
* Annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU during appointment.
* Experience contributing to the development of personal plans.
* Experience and knowledge of the role of a key worker.
* Experience delivering personal care to adults.
* Experience assisting adults with medical needs / administering medication.
* Experience engaging in professional supervision.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with adults with disabilities including physical/intellectual/ASD/behaviours of concern.
* Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Experience taking leadership in the development of personal plans.
* Experience responding to complaints.
