About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Renewable Energy Project Coordinator to join our team in Newbridge. As a key member of our Planning and Development team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of planning applications and environmental assessments for renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and submission of planning applications for renewable energy infrastructure projects.
* Coordinate the preparation of key environmental documentation such as EIA and AA Screenings, EIARs, and Natura Impact Statements (NIS).
* Oversee baseline environmental assessments and manage input from internal and external technical experts.
* Monitor and assess updates in planning and environmental legislation and policy, contributing to strategic submissions and internal planning activities.
* Collaborate with community engagement teams to develop stakeholder consultation plans and participate in public outreach events.
* Prepare detailed project specifications for third-party environmental consultants and assist with procurement processes.
* Ensure strict compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards, in line with EU and national legislation.
* Contribute to team and organizational goals through active participation in performance and project management initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Honours Degree (Level 8) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is essential.
* A postgraduate qualification (Level 9) in Environmental Science, Planning Law, or a related discipline is desirable.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting planning applications and environmental assessment processes.
* Strong working knowledge of the EIA process and Irish planning legislation.
* Experience with renewable energy and infrastructure projects, especially Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID), is highly advantageous.
* Proven ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and complex project timelines.
* Technical expertise in an EIA-related field (e.g., ecology, noise, air quality) is a plus.
