About The Role
Reporting to the Coftec general manager, the process engineering manager will translate our clients’ needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements, and that of Coftec.
The process engineering manager will play a critical role in translating customers process requirements into deliverable, cost effective and profitable solutions. Playing a lead role with internal and external design teams and project managers, they will influence and optimise the design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.
The role will support all areas of process design, product design, tendering and manufacturing to develop practical and efficient technical solutions that will result in effective modular water and wastewater treatment solutions.
Responsibilities

Understand and document our clients process needs and draft high level design concepts that will be shared with customers.
Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet our client’s needs.
Work with our project managers and tendering to cost our proposed solutions.
Support our business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
Support Coftec staff on design, procurement and project delivery.
Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of our solutions.
In conjunction with our manufacturing team, develop documentation that support the assembly, commissioning and operation of our modular solutions to include the development of technical files that will support CE Mark self-certification.
Working with the General Manager, define standard product offerings that meet the needs of the water and wastewater treatment market.
Supporting the design team and project manager, as well as collaborating with all parties in the project team, to ensure the successful delivery of robust technical solutions.

About You
Requirements

A minimum of L8degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
Managerial experience of process or design teams advantageous.
Commercial awareness, ensuring product proposals are both cost effective and profitable.
Extensive Technical knowledge of process design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience advantageous)
A minimum of 10 years of experience water / wastewater industry.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Excel, MS Office and MS Project
Full clean Irish/UK/EU Driving Licence
Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. Currently hold a valid Work Permit or a Stamp 4 visa
