Details of serviceRegional Health Area C HSE: Dublin & South EastCarlow/Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford Mental Health Services provide specialist assessment, care and treatment for people spanning all life stages to include a broad range of community-based services as well as specialised services for children and adolescents, adults and older people. These services are delivered by staff from a range of disciplines including psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, family therapist, and support staff in line with A Vision for Change and Sharing the Vision These strategy documents set out how services should be structured and delivered in Ireland and in conjunction with our voluntary partners, C/K/ST/W/W MHS ensure the meaningful involvement of the service user in the management and delivery of a recovery focused mental health service. C/K/ST/W/W Mental Health Services are committed to working towards the development of a recovery orientated service that acknowledges the unique nature of each service user's journey to wellness and health. Our focus is on providing assessment and treatment at the least complex level. The services are recovery orientated and are provided in a wide range of hospital and community-based locations. Hospital services include Liaison Services and seven approved centres (Acute Admission, Rehabilitation and Recovery, and Psychiatry of Later Life). Community based services include Home Based Treatment Service, Assertive Outreach, Crisis Resolution, Day Hospital Services, Day Centre Services, Vocational Training, Low, Medium and High Support Residential Units.
