External Sales Representative
to join our team on a

The Role
We are looking for a proactive, technically minded, and results-driven External Sales Representative to lead business development and account management across European regions.
This role is offered as a
maternity cover and is not a permanent position
. However, should a suitable opportunity arise in the future, the successful candidate
may be considered
, subject to business needs.
You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and technical engagement to quotation, negotiation, and closing—while building long-term relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across electrical, industrial, OEM, and distribution markets
* Proactively engage with potential clients through calls, online meetings, onsite visits, and industry events
* Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions
* Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals
* Attend trade exhibitions and visit manufacturers or customers across Europe
Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions
* Respond to customer inquiries and manage after-sales support
* Keep customers informed of new products, technologies, and market developments
Market Intelligence & Technical Support
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends
* Identify new sectors and customer opportunities
* Develop strong technical knowledge of ESIS products and systems
* Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support in collaboration with internal teams
Requirements
* Based in Dublin, with the ability and willingness to travel throughout Europe
* Proven experience in B2B industrial, technical, or electrical sales
* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Valid EU driving licence
* Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland and be able to work without visa sponsorship
* Additional European languages are an advantage
