We are seeking a highly skilled Fresh Produce Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our buying office, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our fresh produce business.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality products meet customer expectations, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To develop the Fresh Produce/Horticulture Supply chain to position Dunnes Stores fresh produce as a market leader in the retail sector from a quality viewpoint
2. To carry out continuous improvement of supplier quality management working closely with other teams to deliver best-in-class quality
3. Maintain constant tracking and analysis of quality information within the supply distribution retail identifying reasons for non-performance and agreeing action plans for improvements
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in a fresh produce role Production growing experience preferable Experience in FMCG preferable Degree qualification in Commercial Horticulture or similar field Strong communication skills Strong interpersonal skills ability to work with cross-functional teams Ability to multi-task ensure flawless execution delivery Flexibility work on juggle variety initiatives Outstanding work ethic results-oriented Experience Quality Systems Management preferable Knowledge international markets supply chains preferable
