Senior Electronic Engineer A leading global medical technology company is seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer to join its expanding engineering team, supporting the development of advanced electro-mechanical devices within a highly innovative environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage development through to commercialisation, while contributing to meaningful, patient-focused technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Design electronic assemblies and PCBAs for electro-mechanical medical devices Lead electrical design activities across development and lifecycle projects Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, and quality teams to deliver on project timelines Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including UL, IEC, and FDA Conduct EMI, safety, and manufacturability testing Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement activities Generate design specifications, test protocols, and technical documentation Participate in design reviews to ensure electrical integrity and safety Mentor and support junior engineers within the team Requirements: Level 8 degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline 4+ years' experience in electronic design, ideally within a regulated environment Strong knowledge of analogue and digital design, with experience in mixed signal circuits Experience with embedded systems and low power design is advantageous Background in industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or similar highly regulated sectors considered Experience with EMC testing and structured design documentation is beneficial Apply now or contact Kerry on for a confidential discussion.
