Optimize Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join a growing Engineering consultancy in Ireland. This role will see you leading on environmental certifications, particularly LEED AP, and contributing to sustainability strategies across a varied project portfolio including data centres, commercial, and residential developments. Youll work closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality, and forward-thinking sustainability solutions. About the Role 5+ years experience in a sustainability consultancy, engineering, or related role Degree in construction, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline Strong technical knowledge of sustainability and building services Up to date with relevant regulations and standards Experience with LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and HPI Proven project management and QA capability Ability to mentor and manage junior staff Key Responsibilities Lead and support junior team members to deliver projects to a high standard Manage client relationships and ensure expectations are met or exceeded Ensure projects comply with contractual, regulatory, and sustainability requirements Oversee QA processes and report progress to senior management Register projects on relevant platforms and support invoicing processes Prepare and expand energy statements, CRDs, and sustainability documentation Apply sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building strategies Use industry software for energy modelling and sustainability assessments This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible environmental impact while supporting the continued growth of a respected consultancy.
