We're working with a well-established Contractor in their search for a skilled Site Engineer to join an upcoming project in Kilkenny.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this €4m refurbishment project in Kilkenny. Working closely with the project/site management team and business leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site using the latest surveying equipment.
7. Monitoring and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
8. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
9. Providing technical support and guidance to the site team on engineering matters.
10. Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, daily diaries, and as-built drawings.
11. Implementing and enforcing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
12. Resolving any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.
13. Liaising with the client, consultants, and other project stakeholders to address any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
14. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
15. Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects over €1m
16. Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments and software.
17. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
18. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
