Our organization is seeking a dynamic leader to manage the day-to-day delivery of services and lead teams in delivering high-quality care.
About the Role
The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the development of the service aligns with Personal Outcomes Measures and HIQA standards and regulations.
Main responsibilities include assisting team managers, service coordinators, and area managers with resource management and staffing, including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication, and professional leadership to ensure a good quality of life for the people we support.
Key Requirements
* A relevant professional qualification, such as an RNID/RMHN qualification or a recognized QQI qualification in Applied Social Studies (minimum level 7)
* Experience of effectively managing a staff team, leading, motivating, empowering, and achieving results through people
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience gained in services for people with intellectual disabilities
* Experience working with individuals who may exhibit behaviors of concern

* Leadership, communication, and team working skills
* Flexibility and dynamism in relating to people in a range of situations
* An understanding of and commitment to the principles of public accountability as they apply in the health service
Benefits
Contracted hours will depend on the grade of the successful candidate, typically between 75-78 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work, night duties, or sleepovers required.
Leave will be granted according to the agreed leave assigned to the grade of the successful candidates.
Remuneration will be based on the salary scale attached to the grade of the successful candidate.
