Product categories include Laundry, Dishwasher, Cooling and Cooking.Despite Harvey Norman being a global company all the buying for our Irish business is done locally in Dublin and so this is an exciting opportunity to build a category and deal with some of the biggest brands in the world including Samsung, Whirlpool, LG, Electrolux and Bosch.The role reports to the Product and Marketing Manager of Major Domestic Appliances.THE ROLEYour tasks will include:·Execute product life cycle management from initial product launch.·Engage with top tier manufacturers to consistently improve market position and sales.·Work with essential partners to develop, launch, and manage new categories and seasonal products.·Develop marketing campaigns to enhance market position and sales.·Compile all relevant data for product line positioning, trend analysis and competitive analysis, consisting of tracking competitor pricing and activities.·Develop product strategy and positioning, pre-sale activities, and developing sales tools, marketing materials & collateral.·Define product positioning and key product messages while working with other teams to develop product launch activities, data sheets, and outbound marketing materials.·Create and execute product training for relevant staff.·Product fixture design and implementation.·Attending brand events both in Ireland and abroad.·Visiting stores nationwide for training events, store fixture updates, store merchandising standards and more.YOUR PROFILEYour knowledge, skills and experience will include:·Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for identifying market opportunities.·Excellent computer skills (Excel is key).·Strong in cross-team collaboration.·Strong time management skills.·Ability to lead end-to-end marketing tactics without supervision.·Strong attention to detail.·Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.·Experience in product marketing is desirable.·Product management experience is desirable.·Strong negotiation and influencing skills are essential.·Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written and presentation skills.·Experience in retail channel marketing a strong plus.Why people join us:·We're dynamic and growing·Fun, high energy work environment.·Culture of developing and promoting from within the company.·Our entrepreneurial spirit.·Generous staff discounts.Additional Information:This is a permanent contract subject to a six-month probationary period.The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day in Dublin City Centre.
