A well-established food manufacturing company based in Naas, Co. Kildare is currently recruiting an Engineering Technician to join its on-site Engineering team.This is a hands-on maintenance role within a fast-paced production environment, offering a strong salary and shift premium.Shift Pattern:24/7 operation6am – 6pm4-week rotating roster (days & nights)30% night shift premiumKey Responsibilities:Reactive and planned maintenance across production and site facilitiesFault-finding, repair and maintenance of plant and equipmentInstallation and commissioning of equipmentExecution of preventive maintenance programmesPLC fault diagnostics (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Schneider)Support utilities including compressed air and refrigerationEnsure compliance with health & safety, food safety and quality standardsLiaise with suppliers and oversee contractorsParticipate in on-call support as requiredRequirements:Engineering qualification or time-served Electrician/FitterMinimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance roleStrong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skillsManufacturing or food industry experience desirableExperience with CMMS, motor control systems, pneumatics and temperature controlPLC experience an advantageFlexible, reliable and able to work on own initiativeWhat's on Offer:€48k+ DOE30% night shift premiumPermanent, secure roleModern manufacturing environmentStrong engineering team and development opportunities
