Job Title: Human Resources Director
We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to oversee key HR functions, drive strategic projects, and support senior leadership. This is a standalone role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across both strategic and operational HR.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Chief of People, you will take ownership of payroll, project management, compliance, and systems implementation. You will also play a vital role in supporting senior leadership and driving continuous improvement across HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee payroll for UK and Ireland, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coordination with external providers.
2. Lead HR initiatives and strategic projects, including policy development, employee engagement programmes, and implementation of new HRIS (Workday).
3. Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Chief of People.
4. Maintain up-to-date, compliant HR records and documentation.
5. Identify and implement process improvements across HR operations to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Officer role with responsibility for payroll and HR project delivery. Strong knowledge of employment law and payroll practices across the UK and Ireland. Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms is advantageous. CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
