Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Property Manager role based in the Greater Munster Area. The Property Manager will oversee daily operations of assigned properties, including coordinating maintenance requests, conducting regular property inspections, and ensuring all units and common areas are well-maintained. Responsibilities include managing tenant relations, responding to inquiries and concerns, handling move-in and move-out processes, and enforcing lease terms and community policies. The Property Manager will prepare and review leases, collect and track rent payments, monitor budgets, and support financial reporting. The role will also involve collaborating with vendors, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, and providing regular updates to property owners and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience in property or real estate management, including tenant relations, lease administration, and rent collection.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to manage multiple properties, priorities, and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with residents, owners, vendors, and team members.
Ability to interpret and apply lease agreements, local housing regulations, and basic property compliance requirements.
Comfort with property management software, spreadsheets, email, and other digital tools for scheduling and record-keeping.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm, professional approach to resident issues and emergencies.
Attention to detail in inspections, documentation, reporting, and financial tracking.
Previous on-site property management or residential leasing experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Munster Area and be available for occasional after-hours or weekend needs as required.
