Acute Mental Health Care Professional
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Mental Health Care Professional to join our multidisciplinary team in an acute mental health facility based in Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RPNs to cover ad hoc shifts and work flexibly on rostered days.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with acute psychiatric conditions, working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
An essential requirement is having previous experience working in an acute hospital setting within Ireland, along with being active on the live NMBI register. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to work independently and effectively manage time, are also crucial aspects of this role.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To assess patient needs accurately and provide individualized care that meets their physical, emotional and social requirements.
2. Plan deliver professional evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's specific circumstances.
3. Evaluate continuously monitor progress towards set goals ensuring adjustments as necessary while maintaining effective therapeutic relationships throughout treatment periods..
