Job Opportunity: IT Field Support Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Field Support Specialist to join a fast-paced, nationwide organisation supporting over 450 users across 40+ locations. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you will deliver both remote and onsite technical support, ensuring business-critical systems and infrastructure run smoothly. Job Responsibilities
1. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to internal users, resolving hardware, software, and infrastructure issues both remotely and onsite.
2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, access points, and network equipment.
3. Support and maintain Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and core network services (DNS, DHCP, MFA, security groups, shared mailboxes, distribution lists).
4. Participate in IT projects and collaborate with third-party vendors and internal technical teams.
5. Manage IT hardware procurement and coordinate repairs and replacements with suppliers.
6. Maintain accurate asset records and update ITSM ticketing systems (., Ivanti/Jira).
7. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and equipment.
8. Travel to branch locations nationwide as required, including occasional after-hours or weekend support.
Job Requirements
9. Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Windows desktop environments.
10. Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Command Line, and PowerShell.
11. Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
12. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple terms.
13. Proven ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
14. Experience working within a multi-tiered support structure.
15. Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as Ivanti or Jira (desirable).
16. IT qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) and/or Microsoft certification (., MCP) preferred.
17. Experience with EDI systems is an advantage.
18. Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
