Our client, based on Mallow road are looking for a detailed oriented and proactive Finance Assistant/Accounting Technician to play a crucial role in supporting the management of our finance department.
ROLE REPOSIBILITIES: Entering invoices, reconciliations, processing payments.
Maintain the aged debtors, systematically following up on overdue accounts.
Process weekly bank reconciliations.
Play a key role in the preparation of weeklypayroll and staff expense claims.
Submit Revenue Returns through ROS website.
Responsible for month end procedures Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts.
Preparing and completing a financial year end file for the Auditors.
Support the management of the finance department.
Responsible for taxing company vehicles and ensuring.
Preparing enhanced reports on Supplier accounts in preparation for payment.
Preparation of Nominal Journals.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Proficiency in using accounting software.
(Salesforce an advantage)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient knowledge of MS office application specifically Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive with a positive cando attitude Work independently and effectively as part of a remote team Ability to consistently meet weekly/monthly deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements: A degree in Accountancy/Business or an ongoing recognized accountancy course OR qualified through relevant experience.
At least 2-3yrs previous relevant experience working within a similar role an advantage.
