About Your New Job as Senior Architectural Technologist
As a Senior Architectural Technologist based in Limerick, you will take a leading role in the design, coordination, and delivery of high‑quality residential projects.
Work directly with architects, project leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage technical drawings, construction documentation, and specifications throughout all project stages.
Oversee and coordinate technical aspects both on site and in the office, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and industry standards while maintaining design intent and quality.
Take responsibility for problem‑solving during the design and construction phases, liaising with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting ongoing best practice and fostering a collaborative, innovative team environment.
What Skills You Need as a Senior Architectural Technologist
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience as an architectural technologist, with a substantial track record on residential projects in Ireland.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant technical software.
Excellent knowledge of building construction methods, detailing, and the practical application of Irish Building Regulations and residential sector standards.
Strong experience producing, coordinating, and reviewing planning, tender, and construction documentation.
Effective communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and confidently engage with internal and external teams.
