About the RoleWe are a growing, dynamic company looking to hire a Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration and support the smooth running of the office. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is a qualified Accounting Technician who enjoys responsibility, takes initiative, and wants to be part of a close-knit team where their work genuinely makes an impact.You will work closely with senior team members, supporting financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient internal processes as the business continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & FinanceMaintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping recordsPrepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with Irish VAT regulationsProcess bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate mannerManage creditor and debtor control accountsProcess supplier invoices and maintain supplier recordsIssue and manage sales invoices, including recurring invoicesUpdate and maintain Xero product cost and sales itemsSupport financial reporting as requiredOffice AdministrationHandle general office administration and ad-hoc administrative tasksHandle call overflow and log support desk queriesSupport internal processes and ensure documentation is accurate and up to dateCommunicate clearly and confidently with key team membersProactively identify issues, suggest improvements, and streamline processesContribution & InitiativeTake ownership of your role and work independently when requiredContribute ideas that support business efficiency and growthDemonstrate a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to improve how things are doneQualifications & RequirementsQualified Accounting Technician (IATI / ICB / AAT / CPD or equivalent)Experience & Skills RequiredMinimum 2 years' post qualification experience in bookkeeping or accountancy in IrelandStrong working knowledge of VAT and general bookkeeping principlesExperience using accounting software (Xero experience is a significant advantage)Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsProfessional, confident, and clear communicatorEnthusiastic, hardworking individual comfortable in a busy office environmentSelf-motivated, positive, and reliable team player with strong interpersonal skillsBenefits22 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 28 daysFlexible working hours after successful probationHybrid working available after successful probationSupportive team environment with room to grow and developJob Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€37,000.00 per yearExperience:Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)Licence/Certification:IATI / ICB / AAT / CPD or equivalent certification (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin
