This role suits someone who enjoys building reliable, reusable data foundations and wants their work to genuinely influence decision-making at scale.
You'll sit within a cross-functional squad, working closely with analytics, data preparation, and visualisation specialists to design and deliver data products that are trusted, well-governed, and built for reuse.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership: from pipeline design through to stakeholder adoption.
What you'll do Designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and models aligned to modern data architecture best practices Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate needs into scalable solutions Delivering end-to-end data initiatives involving large, complex datasets Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code, with a strong focus on maintainability Supporting testing cycles including unit testing and user acceptance testing Creating standardised processes and documentation to ensure data is managed consistently and efficiently What you'll bring4+ years' experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or advanced data analytics roles Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with ETL / data preparation tools Solid understanding of data warehouse and data modelling concepts, with an emphasis on reusable, parameterised design Python development experience Familiarity with Agile / Scrum ways of working and delivering to clearly defined user stories A detail-driven mindset, with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure Nice to Haves Experience with Lakehouse platforms (Databricks highly regarded)Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Tableau Knowledge of version control (Git Hub) and modern data governance practices Industry experience in regulated or data-intensive environments Why This Role You'll be trusted with meaningful responsibility, exposed to global stakeholders, and given the space to build data solutions that actually get used, not just built.
