Description

Codec is experiencing explosive growth and is seeking a driven and self-motivated Senior Commercial Lead for our Financial Solutions Business to join our expanding ERP & EPM organization.

In this role, you will identify new business opportunities across all industries in the UK and Ireland. You will be crucial in growing our organization by researching leads, establishing relationships, and acquiring new customers. The ideal candidate excels in a high-energy environment, is relentless, focused, and understands what it takes to stay competitive.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the sales strategy of the ERP & EPM Practices.
- Grow pipelines through marketing and sales efforts.
- Initiate strategic opportunities at large accounts and manage the sales cycle for these opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strong business development plan through market and account planning, marketing strategies, and account management, leading to measurable success.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
- Manage the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of client proposals, including effort estimates and costings for full solution implementations, collaborating with the bid team to deliver high-quality bids and proposals.
- Drive cross-selling initiatives to maximize Financial Systems penetration across our customer base.
- Maintain a 'Trusted Advisor' relationship with clients and identify opportunities for additional project work.
- Act as a key contact for vendor partners.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

- 7+ years of experience selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV to SMB and enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of EPM & ERP solutions with the ability to clearly communicate their benefits.
- Strong communication, selling, negotiating, and closing skills.
- Proven sales experience and capabilities.
- Ability to convert customer problems into opportunities.
- Knowledge of the wider Microsoft stack, Solver, and EPM technologies is advantageous.
- Highly motivated and ambitious with a drive to succeed and meet targets.
