We are recruiting on behalf of a 4-star property in Cavan for an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the smooth running of the front desk and guest services team.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will assist with day-to-day front office operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and overall guest relations. You will also lead the team to ensure consistently high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise, train, and motivate the front office team to consistently deliver 4-star service.
* Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Assist in managing all front office operations, including reception, reservations, and guest services.
* Work closely with other hotel departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
* Monitor room availability, manage allocations, and support upselling initiatives.
* Assist with staff scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing team development.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.
Requirements:
* Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a hotel front office (4-star or higher preferred).
* Passionate about providing excellent guest service.
* Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Professional appearance, proactive attitude, and positive approach.
