Job Overview:
Our team seeks an experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to oversee client service delivery and ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge of fund accounting, and a proven track record of developing and implementing business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement key client service programs to enhance client satisfaction.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure awareness of all key client requirements and provide guidance on operational procedures.
* Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement.
* Assist in resolving complex client issues and manage escalations within the team.
* Train and mentor assigned account managers to ensure successful team management.
* Participate in reviewing procedures and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with clients on reporting requirements and deadlines to deliver high-quality services.
* Conduct regular risk assessments of current and potential new funds under administration.
* Identify and recommend solutions for high-risk projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
* 7-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to product control, operations, or fund accounting environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of private equity fund accounting principles.
* Excellent negotiation, business planning, and budgeting skills.
* Proficiency in Investran or other private equity software packages is highly advantageous.
* Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
