The 5* Intercontinental Dublin in Ballsbridge is currently looking for a Spa Attendant Supervisor to join its team. Reporting directly to the Spa Manager, the Spa Attendant Supervisoris responsible for overseeing the daily operations of spa attendants, ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for guests. This role supports the Spa Manager in maintaining service excellence and smooth functioning of spa facilities. The supervisor leads by example, manages schedules for extra cleaning duties, ensures proper training of staff, and helps with stock count, requisition, and cleanliness standards in all spa areas. Greet guests, answer questions, and perform administrative tasks, such as taking phone calls, managing bookings, and taking payments accordingly. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and motivate spa attendants to ensure high standards of cleanliness, guest service, and professionalism. Monitor spa facility areas including locker rooms, lounges, opening of the treatment rooms in the morning, and common areas to ensure they are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times. Coordinate daily staffing and scheduling to ensure extra cleaning is done during down times and efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of spa areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards. Address guest inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Support onboarding and ongoing training of spa attendants on proper procedures and protocols. Collaborate with reservation, front desk, and therapists to ensure a seamless guest experience. Does stock count for retail, including ordering and stocking of amenities, and cleaning supplies. Lead by example in maintaining personal grooming and professional appearance standards. Support in maintaining spa opening and closing procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality or spa-related education preferred. Computer skills. Previous experience in a spa, hospitality, or wellness environment; supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of spa services and products is a plus. Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Physical Requirements: Pro-active. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. May be required to lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Work Environment: Indoor spa environment with exposure to moisture, cleaning chemicals, and various temperatures.
