Job Title: Chief Automation Strategist
We are seeking a skilled Chief Automation Strategist to lead our quality engineering strategy and test automation initiatives. This is a senior leadership role driving QA excellence across a complex product portfolio within a regulated fintech environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor cross-functional QA teams including test automation and performance testing functions.
* Own and evolve the test automation architecture across web, mobile, and backend systems.
* Design and implement a scalable, long-term QA strategy aligned with product and business goals.
* Improve CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with Dev Ops, ensuring full test environment automation.
* Define and track QA KPIs, maintain robust regression test coverage, and ensure ISO27001 compliance.
* Champion quality in Agile environments and continuously improve tools, frameworks, and processes.
Requirements:
* 5+ years in senior QA leadership roles, ideally within fintech or highly regulated sectors.
* Proven experience architecting automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, and Rest Assured.
* Strong understanding of API, microservices, and backend testing.
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Git, and test case management systems (e.g., X-Ray).
* Knowledge of visual regression tools (e.g., Percy) and cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Browser Stack/Sauce Labs).
* Experience with Agile, TDD/BDD (e.g., Cucumber), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in banking, payments, or financial services.
* Exposure to mobile app testing, cloud infrastructure (Azure), and Unix/Windows environments.
* Familiarity with ISO standards and secure software development practices.
