We are currently recruiting aSenior MICE Sales Managerto join our team at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend morning briefing with M&E Team when on site, support M&E Team on Conversion
* Work collaboratively with other sales channels
* Conduct monthly quota of site inspections
* Manage the Sports Market for the hotel
* Understand and actively utilize company marketing initiative/incentives to close business
* Attend networking events and overseas tradeshows and sales missions for the MICE market and where applicable.
* Work with Local DMCs to arrange US Direct Sales Missions.
* Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
* Generate new leads from Creation reports and Lost Business Reports.
* Manages the annual performance management process, in line with the Leadership Capability Framework
The successful candidate will have:
* Hospitality Management/BSC
* Have a real understanding of hotel operations
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
* Good presentation and influencing skills
* The ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask many projects/ initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.
* Key focus is the US market - assist in larger pieces of business from ROW on occasion and when needed
* A structured and organized approach to work planning
