POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Supply Chain Planner has overall responsibility for all SKU's related to a portfolio of external (non)-tolling suppliers within the region.
The planner manages the overall supply chain activities for the products, end-to-end through to the customers. They identify and addresses long-term, medium-term and short-term supply chain risks and is a change agent for supply chain improvements and underlying value streams for their products. They ensure visibility of upcoming supply and own the communication to our internal customers.
They supports the S&OP process; summarizing actions, for their site, and follows through on key supply/capacity decisions.
They will actively participate in any change activities such as new product introductions, site transfers, packaging changes, format harmonization, etc. to optimize supply and minimize business impact from a supply perspective.
They facilitate discussions and help drive solutions for all supply shortfalls.
They support the Supply Planning Lead for all externally supplied products, by facilitating data extraction and presentations as required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and maintain long-term capacity and volume plans, addressing gaps.
* Identify and drive improvements in supply planning, inventory management, and campaigning strategy to enhance reliability, lead times, cost, and on-time delivery.
* Monitor site performance against KPIs, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
* Provide data support for Global Supply reviews and follow up on actions.
* Collaborate with sites to resolve supply issues and implement corrective actions.
* Handle tactical order placement within frozen periods.
* Analyze demand trends and their impact on capacity, addressing bottlenecks and simulating scenarios.
* Provide and optimize the monthly Master Production Plan (MPS), challenging production constraints.
* Management of allocations and business priorities during shortages.
* Assess the feasibility of changes within frozen periods and maintain key planning parameters.
* Standardize planning processes and develop baseline volumes for the annual site budget.
* Ensure seamless communication between Demand Planners and sites.
* Collaborate with procurement and API Planning teams on long-term API demand and availability.
* Responsible for reporting on inventory reconciliations and managing distressed inventory.
Performance Indicators:
* Maintain inventory levels within set limits.
* Ensure service levels, including fill rate and stock-out duration.
* Evaluate and act on slow-moving items.

Organizational Relationships
Internal:
* Daily communication with Category Managers (Partners), Demand Teams & Markets (Customers) and Contract Manufacturering Organisations (Suppliers).
* Regular communication with Quality (Partners), Artwork (Partners), others as required.
External:
* CMOs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
* Experience in working in an international organization with a fast evolving environment.
* Working knowledge of supply chain processes with pharma is beneficial.
* Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline required.
* Proficiency in English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
* Knowledge and experience in Supply Planning and other aspects of SC incl. RCCP, Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Demand Planning and S&OP.
* Experience with ERP systems, prior experience with APO SNP or S4 HANA is preferred.
* Strong analytical capabilities.
* Detail oriented, organized, reliable, resourceful with a relentless customer focus.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Team player, ability to collaborate cross functionally.
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Location Dublin.
* Travel is required to meet the needs (estimated 10%.).
