Role Description:
We are seeking a Renewals Manager to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will build strategic relationships with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to minimize attrition, accurately forecast risks, and drive customer success. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing risks during customer contracts by engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve underlying issues, optimizing financial outcomes, maintaining accurate forecasts, and adhering to Salesforce policies.
Responsibilities:
1. Own the renewals process, resolving complex customer issues and mitigating potential attrition during the contract term.
2. Provide accurate 90-day rolling forecasts for your assigned renewal region through diligent maintenance of renewal opportunities.
3. Perform detailed forensic analysis (usage and contract) to identify potential attrition early, leveraging existing processes and reporting tools.
4. Serve as the expert and guide the extended team on optimal resolutions.
5. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Pricing, Legal, and the Renewals team to streamline resolution processes, including notifications and approvals.
6. Create replacement contracts and detailed quotes, obtaining necessary approvals.
7. Provide regular status updates, concise summaries of complex issues, and accurate visibility into forecasted attrition, escalating issues as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven success in Sales, Renewals, Operations, or Account Management roles.
2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
3. Ability to work at a detailed level with cross-functional internal stakeholders and customers to build business cases and drive consensus.
4. Excellent customer management skills.
5. Effective negotiation skills.
6. Fluent in both French and English, with highly effective communication skills capable of explaining complex situations clearly across all organizational levels.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Knowledge of additional European languages.
2. Experience working within a large global sales organization.
3. Experience using Salesforce.
