THE JOB:
The main purpose of the Accommodation and Associated Services Department incorporates the Accommodation Department, Housekeeping and Professional Cleaning throughout the center.
Reporting to the Accommodation & Associated Services Manager, the Accommodation & Associated Services Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
* Routine housekeeping duties as instructed by Accommodation Manager daily.
* Accommodation House Checks, 10 per day as per check list.
* Thorough commercial cleaning of accommodation when residents depart.
* Ensure all tasks on daily job sheet/electronic check sheet are actioned and complete during your working day and reported as complete to your manager.
* Communicate with the Accommodation Manager any maintenance required in accommodation, public venues, and grounds.
* Furnishing and re-stocking of accommodation before arrival of new residents including but not limited to stocking of appliances, bed making, and 'Welcome Pack'.
* Attend and assist with the arrival of new residents.
* Checking in of new residents to their homes.
* Induction training of new residents on housekeeping and use of home appliances.
* Assist with delivery of 'Good Housekeeping' Training Course for residents.
* Issuing residents with the furniture, appliances, or utensils they require in a timely manner during their stay.
* Internal laundry of cleaning cloths, towels, bed linen as required.
* Provide aided assistance to residents when required.
* Checking out residents including stock take of accommodation and full check out protocol in advance of their departure.
* Window cleaning and door cleaning of main public venues and accommodation.
* Ensure individual venues and their approach routes for tours and visits are of the highest standard of cleanliness and of the appropriate layout.
* Routine cleaning of all public venues.
* Daily routine venue set up.
* Venue set up and coordination before, during and after specific events and meetings.
* Coordination of catering requirements for specific events and meetings - set up and removal.
* Litter management throughout the center.
* Recycling management in all departments including main public venues.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your Team Leader or Line Manager or any other member of the management team.

YOUR QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Experience & Qualifications - Leaving cert or equivalent is required. You have 1- 3 years' experience dealing face to face with the public in a customer service role, hospitality, tourism or retail role.
* Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook and comfortable using systems.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
· The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week).
· The successful applicants will be required to successfully complete a six-month probation, have a preemployment medical and complete Garda Vetting checks.
· This role involves extensive manual handling including walking.
· Full training will be provided.
